During the lockdown, instead of delving into Ancient Greek or hoarding toilet paper, UK Radio DJ and TV personality, Matt Edmondson, harnessed his creative energy to delve into game design.

Throughout this period, Matt independently acquired skills in graphic and packaging design, copywriting, and the intricacies of the game manufacturing process. Collaborating with his brother-in-law, businessman Laurence Emmett, they co-founded Format Games in 2021. The company marked its debut with two captivating games: the color-mixing card game, Egg Slam, and the irresistibly addictive trivia game, So Wrong It’s Right.

Since its inception in 2021, Format Games has experienced continuous growth, unveiling new games each year. Notable releases include the award-winning Noggin and popular titles like Toodles, Wheels Vs Doors, and Karen.
